Companion Plants

Companion planting is a great way to increase yield, flavor, and repel pests in your garden.

Broccoli

The natural oils in the dill repel most pests that are attracted to broccoli plants.

Corn

Dill that is planted at the base of corn stalks shade the soil for the corn.  As the corn grows, it provides shade for the dill.

Garlic

Garlic repels aphids, so planting near dill will allow the dill plant to reach maturity.

Lettuce

Dill will help to repel slugs and snails from lettuce plants.
